Courtney Belyea is a young woman with multiple disabilities who is passionate about social justice. Her passions include: indigenous rights - both globally and on Turtle Island - racial justice, and the rights of disabled people, nationally and globally. Courtney rails against eugenicist attitudes towards disability. She actively works to promote universal accessibility for persons with disabilities while warning of the harm legalized assisted suicide inflicts on this vulnerable population. Courtney believes in the rights of women, working people, children, the elderly, animals, the planet, gay and bisexual people, new Canadians and undocumented Canadians. She believes in favouring international aid over military intervention.
She is an assimilated Anglophone of maternal Acadian descent.Site web: https://twitter.com/BelyeaUE @BelyeaUE
