Ampai Thammachack is one of the Top 22 Under 22 Most Inspirational College Women in the World for 2018 as listed by hercampus.com. She is also the Founder of the Glass Slipper Organization that has donated over 500 prom dresses to girls in need for free over the last 4 years. Thammachack is also the Founder, Past President and Co-President of the Step Above Stigma charity that works to raise funds and awareness for mental health across Canada. Step Above Stigma has grown from a nervous idea into an organization of approximately 200 volunteers across Canada that has raised $30,000.00 for mental health services. Thammachack is also the Co-Captain of the African Caribbean Dance Team for the second year in a row at Queen’s University, leading the team to record heights in her first year. She is also a 2019 Recipient of the Historic Agnes Benidickson Tricolour Award and is a Chancellor’s Scholar and 3rd year Kinesiology student from Bedford Nova Scotia.
