My name is Olivia Corrigan and I am from Charlottetown/Stratford, Prince Edward Island, and I am representing Miramichi-Grand Lake! I am currently a second-year student at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick studying towards a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, my goal is to be able to provide inclusive mental health support to youth in my province(s), so I plan on moving towards a degree in clinical or social psychology. I was inspired to apply for Daughters of the Vote after my grandmother, who served as mayor of Charlottetown in the 1960s and was a pioneer in female political representation in Atlantic Canada. I am very excited to be spending the week with other women and non-binary individuals who are also passionate about politics!
